Geotechnical Systems Australia was formed solely to design, manufacture and market instrumentation for the geotechnical, civil and mining industries.

We are based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia but we deliver and consult worldwide.

The founder, John Lakeland, is well known in these industries and has 30 years hands-on experience.

After 10 years with the CSIRO's Division of Applied Geomechanics, John worked throughout Australia in the area of instrumentation design and installation before forming his own company, Geotechnical Systems Australia, in 1987.

Geotechnical Systems Australia supplies the geotechnical industry with instrumentation designed from a combination of research, development and practical field experience while still maintaining quality and prices to satisfy your requirements.
